Registration Problems

I registered this morning. It gave me the generic password then I created my own. It emailed my password confirmation. Now, when I try to log on it says it doesn't recognize my email address or it gives the error that my username is already in use. It won't let me enter the chat site or the bbs. Please help. By the way, I sent an email, but it keeps getting returned.

Yes, I restarted. I even downloaded java updates, etc...still nothing.
